a room to eat a big plate of spegetti in

A room to eat spaghetti in invites viewers to take a moment and imagine living in a room like this one. A room full of dreams, colors, characters. A room to be interpreted individually and mutated by each interpretation. This room was inspired by the boxed in feeling of disconnect created by quarantine and the wandering, imaginative mind that came with it. I let this project have a mind of its own, however nonsensical, by following gut impulses and not second guessing myself. I wanted to explore the idea of how colors, light, humor and aesthetic can positively affect mental health and how imagination and romanticization can be used as a coping mechanism for the repetition of daily life.
